At its core, the MPD3588 is built on the Rockchip RK3588, an advanced octa-core SoC featuring quad Cortex-A76 and quad Cortex-A55 CPUs, running up to 2.4GHz, paired with a power-efficiency Mali-G610 MP4 GPU. This architecture delivers exceptional graphics and video performance, supporting 8K@60fps video decoding for ultra-smooth, high-fidelity content playback across large-format displays.
The signage player supports four independent HDMI outputs and one HDMI input, enabling flexible deployment for video walls, screen splicing, and multi-screen installations from a single compact device. To accommodate diverse signage software platforms and deployment requirements, the MPD3588 supports multiple operating systems, including Android 14, Ubuntu, Debian 11, and Yocto. This flexibility allows system integrators to select the optimal environment based on CMS compatibility, customization requirements, and long-term maintenance strategies.
Commercial-Grade Design and Flexible Deployment
Housed in an all-metal, fanless enclosure, the MPD3588 is engineered for 7×24 operation, ensuring silent, maintenance-free performance in commercial spaces. Its low-power design, coupled with optional PoE support, enables energy-efficient operation while helping reduce overall operational costs.
The compact enclosure supports VESA mounting and flexible installation options, making it suitable for wall-mounted or rack-based video wall deployments. The MPD3588 also offers rich connectivity, including dual Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a wide range of interfaces such as USB 3.0/2.0, USB Type-C, RS232/RS485, CAN, GPIO, IR input, UART, I2C, M.2, and microSD card slots.
